Welcome to the Photography Unlimited Home Page

This Web Site is a work of love created by Kathleen and Larry Douglas based on over 45 years of combined activity in photography. Kathleen and I have been avid photographers for over 45 years and shooting together for the past 34 years. We worked mainly with Leicaflexes for 35 mm film work and Rolieflex SL66s for 2 1/4 film work. About December 2006 Larry was seduced to the dark side and started to shoot digital cameras. He has only used Sigma cameras and lenses; and claims that the Foveon 3 layer sensor in the Sigma cameras gives results that simulate film. Kathleen isn’t convinced and still primarily shoots her film cameras. Photographs 1 and 2 below illustrate some of the range (time) of our photos. Photo 1 was taken in late October 2010 at the Garden of the God in Colorado Springs with a digital camera and photo 2 was taken in 1976 in Aspen, Colorado using slide film in a Minolta camera.

Photo 1 shows the Gateway to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs with Pike's Peak in the background.

Photo 2 shows the fall colors and reflections at the Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado.

Most of the photographs displayed on these web pages were shot between the time frame of these initial photographs. We will be adding new work to the site as we work on new projects.

We have group the photos into 5 categories; 1. Landscape Photographs, Wildlife Photographs, Flowers and Nature Photographs, Monochrome Photographs and finally, Miscellaneous Photographs. Each category will feature 2 works to introduce the section and will be followed by a gallery of our works in thumbnail sized photos. By clicking on the thumbnail images they will become larger for better viewing.

This is a project that Kathleen and I have planned to complete for several years and are happy to finally get time to get it done. We hope you enjoy the images in the sections to follow and if by chance you see an image you can not live without a print on your wall at home or office, we will offer prints for sale. Prices and conditions for the sale are listed in e-commerce section below.

We also will be updating our travels and photo excursions on a Blog located at :

Stop by anytime and see what the Douglas' are doing.
